Here is the start of the list of documentaries and books that I have seen and read that I recommend. They all add to the vital information that everyone needs to know and share in order to make our lives sustainable on the Planet. I will be adding more in the weeks to come. I hope they help you understand what we are up against. I know they helped me.
Documentaries
Economics of Happiness: This documentary has such a broad, far reaching vision. I could relate to it so much when I first saw it. Not only does it address climate change, but, also our lifestyles and the affect it has on the Planet.
Gasland and Gasland 2: Josh Fox does an excellent job of informing us about the horrific process of fracking to get natural gas and oil out of shale.
How Cuba Survived Peak Oil: What a success story in the face of peak oil in Cuba. We all can learn a tremendous lesson here.
Bag It: Just when you think you know all that we are confronted with, there is this film on plastic.
No Impact Man: A great documentary by Colin Beavan and his experiment to live without as many fossil fuels as possible for a year. Highly recommended.
Blue Gold: This is one of many documentaries on water. I think this is one of the best.
Collapse: The film looks at other civilizations and at what we are up against when it comes to resources and climate change.
